Nigeria 1996 HOME

It was mid February and I was in the throngs of the World Cup series. Since the inception of the project I was praying Nigeria would qualify so I can recreate this kit. But alas, they didn’t. Despite being 2 months delayed, and against better judgment, I decided to pause the World Cup project and make the Nigeria kit anyways.

This design is Nigeria’s 1996 home jersey, the year they won the Olympics. I made this piece for my guy Choya during 2025/26 AFCON. When I got married, Choya gifted me a bespoke LFC baseball jersey. This piece was a small way to say thank you for his generosity.

This piece was frankensteined from two sweater shirts provided by Choya.
